The collection houses items that belonged to Edward J. Gantner, Jr., a starter in the University of Central Florida Fighting Knights football team from 1979 to 1981, a professional football player in United States Football League and played for the Tampa Bay Bandits as Defensive Tackle and Jacksonville Bulls as an Offensive Lineman, and became a professional wrestler in 1985 until 1987.

Michael Berman Florida Women’'s Conference Photographs, 1977

This collection contains 21 photographs taken by Michael Berman that pertain to the Florida Women'’s Conference of 1977. The first Florida Women'’s Conference was held in July of the 15th, 16th, and 17th. It was run by forty Florida women selected by Jimmy Carter in order to help deal with the rift between those for Equal Rights Amendment and those against it.

University of Central Florida Office of the President: Steven Altman Records, 1984-1991

Steven Altman was the third President of the University of Central Florida. He only occupied the position from 1989 until 1991; therefore the quantity of documentation is limited. Series I contains about 1.5 linear feet of materials pertaining to arrangements for his inauguration with a substantial amount consisting of congratulatory messages from other universities. Series II holds strategic planning materials most of which are Academic and Administrative Audits that provide a snapshot of the University at the time and which ultimately led to a strategic plan being formulated.

University of Central Florida Scrapbook Collection, 1960-2009

These materials were collected by various unknown individuals as a way to chronicle the history of the University of Central Florida since its creation as Florida Technological University. The collection is divided into four series to delineate between general University history and organizational history. The vast majority of this collection is made up of news articles cut from local newspapers, however there are other materials such as office notes, pictures, brochures, and pamphlets.
