Archival Collections

Items include three photographs, FSU Artist Series programs, and other assorted documents, publications and ephemera relating to Barbara Boling Anderson's college life at Florida State College for Women and Florida State University, from 1947-1950.

The Cal and Mary Jane Koesy Collection consists of personal photographs related to the couple's student experiences at Florida State College for Women and Florida State University from 1944-1952.

Photographs, ephemera and other personal items of Tallahassee Branch of the University of Florida/Florida State University student Giles O. Lofton (BS, Business, 1950) and his wife, Florida State College for Women/Florida State University student Anicia Aleman Lofton (BS, Commerce, 1949). This is a virtual collection. These photographs and other items are in the possession of Mr. B.J. Develle, Tallahassee, Florida.

This collection consists of an oral history interview transcript of Roy Mack Holt, who was enlisted in the U.S. Navy and worked as a Navy aircraft pilot during World War II, serving on anti-submarine patrols on the Atlantic coast and the Caribbean Sea (Cuba, Brazil, and Morocco). The interview covers his life before and after service. The interview also describes his years after the war studying at Florida State University. This collection also includes a small fragment of his obituary.

The Sam Lamar Collection consists mainly of correspondence, photographs, and other documents from 1946-1951 related to his time as a student at the Tallahassee Branch of the University of Florida (TBUF) and later Florida State University.
