Background

Scope and Content:

Series I: Drafts and Notes, 1992-1997 contains index cards and notebooks with pre-production information.

Series II: Final Scripts and Tapes, 1992-1997 contains bound manuscripts and audiocassettes of the Jewish Radio Hour program.

Biographical / Historical:

WUCF Radio resides at the Nicholson School of Communication's building and airs on 89.9 FM. Hy Meltz's Jewish Radio Hour aired on WUCF from 1992 until it was cancelled in 1997.

Acquisition information:

WUCF Jewish Radio Hour transferred these materials to the University of Central Florida Libraries, Special Collections and University Archives in 2004

Processing information:

Collection processed by and finding aid prepared by Nava Cohen in 2008. Materials were arranged in pH neutral folders and boxes. The finding aid was updated for consistency among all collections by Mary Rubin in 2012, resulting in edition 2. The finding aid was placed into Archon, with adjustments made for Archon and resulting in edition 3, by Mary Rubin in 2015.
