A collection of 28 recordings of Professor Howard Whitley Eves teaching his Spring Semester class, the History of Mathematics, at the University of Central Florida. Professor Eves taught at the University of Central Florida from 1986 to 1991. The subject ranges from mathematics in the natural world to the development of mathematics across the globe during the early Middle Ages.

The mission of the Library Promotion Coordinating Committee (PCC) is to recommend initial rank for new hires, and to coordinate the faculty promotion and Cumulative Progress Evaluation (CPE) processes. The purpose of the CPE is to provide evaluative feedback and guidance on the appropriateness of professional activities with sufficient lead time for a candidate to take corrective measure.
